At Astro Optics, we maintain rigorous quality control through our comprehensive suite of testing equipment, including:
Fisba Interferometer FST-H100: For high-precision surface and wavefront analysis.
Newport RS4000 Vibration Isolation Table: Ensuring stable and accurate measurements.
Muller Wedel Plano Interferometer (Dia. 70mm): For precise flatness testing.
Radius Measuring Benches (100mm and 1000mm) with Heidenhain Optical Encoders: For accurate radius of curvature measurements.
PE Spectrophotometer Lambda 25 (190-1100nm): For spectral analysis in the UV-Vis range.
Jasco V-770 UV-Visible/NIR Spectrophotometer :.Wide range UV-Visible/Near Infrared Spectrophotometer with PbS detector for wavelengths up to 3200 nm.
Trioptics Autocollimator: For precise centering measurements.
Muller Wedel Focometer Mellos 500: For accurate focal length measurements.
Muller Wedel Universal Master Collimator: For precise alignment and collimation testing.
Muller Wedel Goniometer: For accurate angle measurements.
Angle Masters (1” accuracy, Hilger Watts): For calibrating and verifying angular measurements.
Precision Optics Manufacturing
Astro Optics possesses complete in-house facilities for processing spherical and plano surfaces, ensuring meticulous control over every stage of production. Our capabilities cover the entire process, from initial slitting to final thin film coating. For critical precision requirements, we utilize conventional slow-speed pitch polishing machines from renowned manufacturers like Dama, LOH, Rogers & Clark. For higher volume production, we employ Korean diamond lapping and pad polishing machines. Our LOH laser-aided centering and edging machine guarantees precise control on the edge diameter. Thin film coatings are applied in our Class 10,000 cleanroom, housing Leybold vacuum coating machines equipped with electron beam evaporators for multi-layer dielectric AR and beamsplitter coatings, as well as thermal evaporators for metal coatings.
Our metalworking capabilities are further enhanced by a Hardinge CNC turning machine.
We have a team of highly skilled employees, many with over 25 years of experience in precision optics.
